In other news,
Fish's Eddy is my new favourite store. There are a few New York-y things I was thinking of getting people as gifts. Favourites include:
New York Skyline,
Brooklyn Pattern, and the
"Brooklynese" dishes.
Tomorrow morning my brother arrives for a weekend visit, and tomorrow evening, I am taking him to
Amy Ruth's in Harlem, for Chicken & Waffles and a slice of Red Velvet Cake (I found out about it on Yelp. Apparently its the less touristy Sylvia's). Mmmmmmm!
